Are you an early years practitioner qualified to a Level 3 looking for permanent work in childcare? We here at Bretsa are currently recruiting an experienced, hard working and passionate individual to fill a permanent role in Worcester Park, South West London, working in a room with under 2's.
This role offers a salary of £19,500 per annum (additional benefits TBC).
To apply for this role, we ask that you must be passionate about working with children between the ages of 0-5 years and be able to provide a high standard of care to children as well as supporting other team members.
Overall Responsibilities:
- To assist in ensuring that all children attending the settign are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
- To assist the Management in ensuring that all legislation in relation to registration with regulatory bodies, special needs, safeguarding and Health and Safety is complied with.
This role requires an Enhanced DBS check, an Occupational Health check and 2 satisfactory references.
Essential Requirements:
- All applicants must be available to work full time (40 hours per week).
- You must hold a minimum of Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years Education/Children and Young Peoples' Workforce.
- Experience of working in childcare with children between the ages of 0-5 years.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage, Health and Safety and Safeguarding.
- Knowledge and understanding of Equality and Inclusion.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to develop effective relationships with colleagues, parents and outside agencies.
- The ability to use computers and software packages.
- Ability to work as a reliable member of the team.
- The ability to prioritise, plan and organise workload accordingly.
Desirable Requirements:
- Paediatric First Aid Qualification
- Food Handling and Hygiene Certificate
